Love the game, hate the glitch

Always been a lover of phase 10 fan and playing friends on the app is great, but there is an awful glitch when Im playing one on one with a friend where multiple cards will go missing from one of our hands so that we only have 5 or 6 cards. It happens so often we rarely make it to the final phase without rage quitting. Update please?!
